Leabhar Beag / Introduction
This section is still being redone (apologies for inconvenience meantime).
The schools shown here represent a few of those who have responded to Leabhar Mor through a 'layering' effect. Botanically, layering takes place when a branch of the original tree (such as the Yew) touches the ground and takes root, in due course producing its own shoots and becoming an independent tree. Leabhar Beag has similar imaginative root contact and consequent growth from the original tree. Shown here is some of the work produced as independent books from Aberdeen, Ayrshire, Laoise and Monaghan.
